While i agree with you, i can also tell you, however, that they are not going to be switching back to gibs.

Yeah, I know that. But they shouldn't of replaced Gibs with Sparks, that was ID Software's epic Failure.

I believe it had to do with several countries outlawing the gibs (germany for example).

F**k the Germans! Then they should've just not welcome Quake Zero there instead of forcing them to replaces Gibs with Sparks!

The benefit of no blood lowers the rating of the game. It is free and good media is needed. More countries, more players, more everything. Even for spectating or broadcasting it ll would need to be turned off. We had planned it either way. Also, when's the last time you saw someone jumping to gain speed in real life and spawning?
